Penny Pouch

A few years ago I introduced the "Ewe Old Bags" which are fun prairie satchels.  The pattern included making 4 seasonal totes and I think everyone  should have one.  I'm not sure how many bags any of us need, but I do find that they are certainly fun to make.  This little bag can be used for many occasions.  For example, a quick trip to the store. It will hold your driver's license, credit card and car keys.  Because it hangs diagonally across the body with the long cord, your hands are free.  Perhaps holding a small hand stitchery project would suit it as well.  Whatever you use it for, I hope you enjoy the process of making one for yourself and perhaps one for a friend.  Let me introduce you to my version of a small bag that, If I'm remembering correctly, was called a reticule in my gramma's day.
